Snibby Privacy Policy

Snibby is a habit-tracking app that runs entirely on your device. This policy explains what the app can access and what happens to that information. The short version: nothing about you leaves your phone.

Data we collect

None. Snibby has no servers of its own, no user accounts, no analytics, and no advertising. We (the developers) never see, receive, or store any of your data.

The only network feature is the optional one-time Snibby+ purchase, which is handled entirely by Google Play Billing. Snibby never sends Google any of your habits or usage. Google Play handles the payment and simply tells the app whether you own Snibby+. Google's handling of that transaction is covered by Google's Privacy Policy.

Data the app stores on your device

To work, Snibby keeps the following in its private app storage on your phone only:

• The habits you create, and when you complete them
• Which apps you chose to watch, and your timer settings
• How long you spend in watched apps (measured locally to compute your daily score)
• When interrupts were shown and whether they were dismissed
• Your preferences (companion choice and names, daily target, reminder times)

This data never leaves your device. Uninstalling Snibby permanently deletes all of it.

Permissions and why they're needed

• Usage access — Snibby uses Android's usage access to detect which app is in the foreground, so it knows when you've opened an app you asked it to watch, and to show your own screentime when choosing which apps to watch. It only ever sees which app is in front — never your screen content, messages, passwords, or anything you type — and nothing it observes is collected or transmitted. You can turn it off at any time in system settings.
• Display over other apps — used to show the habit-reminder overlay on top of a watched app.
• Notifications — used for the daily summary, any per-habit reminders you set, and a quiet ongoing notification that shows while Snibby's watcher is running in the background.

Children

Snibby does not collect data from anyone, including children, and contains no ads. It offers a single optional one-time purchase (Snibby+) handled by Google Play.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of Snibby ever changes how data is handled, this policy will be updated and the change highlighted in the app's update notes before it takes effect.
